The Kwara State University, Malete, (KWASU) has released the academic calendar for the 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 academic sessions.

KWASU Academic Calendar.

KWASU academic year consists of the Harmattan and Rain Semesters and One eight-week summer or long vacation session. Each Semester includes 15 weeks of instruction and One week of final examinations. The long vacation session includes a one-eight – one-six week- and two four week periods of instruction.

Harmattan, Semester, 2019

Monday 5th August, 2019 – Student Registration online/Orientation week begins
Monday 12nd August, 2019 – Classes begin
Monday 19th August, 2019 – STUDENTS REGISTRATION ENDS
Thursday – Friday 24th – 25th Oct., 2019 – Mid-Term Break
Tuesday 12th November, 2019 – UNDERGRADUATE MATRICULATION DAY/CEREMONY
Friday 22ndNovember, 2019 – Classes end
Saturday November 23, 2019 – One Month Final Examination Activities starts
Saturday 30thNovember, 2019 – 100 and 200 Level Examinations end
Monday 2nd December, 2019 – 300 to 500 Levels Final Examination Starts
